I could eat this side dish as a meal, mainly because I love, love, love bacon. I should have named my son “Kevin Bacon.”
These Brussels sprouts are one of my family’s favorite sides. And when we have guests, it’s one of the first things to go — people always ask for more! Believe me, you can get a craving for these nuggets of goodness because they’re so satisfying, especially with the bacon’s salty, smokey richness.

This dish has a lot of big, fresh flavors. The combo of the sweetness from the preserves and the little spanking you get from the cayenne pepper is a really nice flavor sensation. You don’t need to put together a ton of ingredients and the sauce is pretty much already made for you because you simply grab a decent jar of apricot preserves.
